Your position will be as follows

You start your day by reviewing maps and reports: is a requested new route or station spatially feasible? Then you drive to a project site to discuss the environmental issues with the contractor. Back at the office, you join a consultation on the integration of a high-voltage substation into the landscape, where you smoothly bring the various interests together.

Later that afternoon, you'll work on permits, dive into research findings and coordinate with the municipality on procedure.

At the end of the afternoon you drive to a community center in Leiden, where a walk-in evening is held for local residents. You present the project, answer questions and make sure everyone feels heard, including critical voices. You close the evening with good input and relieved faces.

Here's what you can expect from us

A fun, challenging job where you can grow with the company's ambitions. By following the right training courses, you can make steps in width or height in no time, depending on your own ambitions.

At BENK PROJECTS, personal attention is key. You will receive guidance from a fixed consultant who understands your field of expertise and will think along with you about your development. Besides that you are part of a knowledge organization in which you can spar with fellow specialists. At least as important: we provide a pleasant working atmosphere, with room for contact, short lines of communication and pleasant moments such as a summer barbecue and an atmospheric end-of-year dinner.

At a glance:

  • You will receive a warm handover from your predecessor and work closely with project teams, municipalities, local residents and contractors;
  • your work has direct social value within the energy transition where you switch between urban and rural challenges.
  • For this, you will be rewarded with a salary that matches your knowledge and experience and is between EUR 4,500 and EUR 6,400.
