Your position will be as follows

We are looking for a new colleague to join our finance team. Experience is not a must, you can learn the trade with us. We recently did this with a colleague who has become an integral part of the team. The only important thing is that you like numbers and have a feel for them. After all, you must enjoy working with them all day long!

Are you following a finance course, are you in the final stages or have you just finished? Then this is a great opportunity for you. Get your career off to a flying start and gain valuable experience in your field.

If you are already doing this work at the moment, then of course that is already a plus!

But why finance at BENK PROJECTS?
You will start in this position with invoicing, but once you have completely mastered this, the position is plenty expandable. You do not need years of experience on this position, it is possible to learn everything or just develop yourself. You will have a varied role in which you will learn and participate a lot, think about:

• Invoicing of outgoing invoices;
• Processing incoming invoices;
• Providing self-billing for self-employed individuals;
• accounts receivable and accounts payable management;
• contact with employees, clients and freelancers: asking questions, thinking along and answering them.

But what can this function be expanded to include?
If you have the ambition to do more work, this can be supplemented by:

• payroll;
• project administration;
• pension administration.

Or you will grow into an all-round financial employee, where you will, for example, prepare management reports, annual accounts, write improvement proposals for cost reduction, etc.

Here's what we expect from you

• you like to get down to business;
• You are good with numbers;
• Helpful if you have experience with Exact and NMBRS;
• Good command of MS Office, especially excel;
• mbo+/hbo working and thinking level;
• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both oral and written;
• Sufficient command of the English language;
• presentable, spontaneous, curious;

The ideal candidate will have an availability of at least 3 working days. As this is a key position and a pivotal role within our organization, we are only looking for a 100% match, where a good fit into the team is key. Start date for this position has not been determined. We value a quality fill rather than a quick fill of this position.

We are BENK PROJECTS

We are a young and close-knit team. We work hard, but it is also very pleasant here. We have our annual BBQ with all (external) colleagues, an internal gala dinner at a unique location with all partners, our annual trip abroad and we end the year with all colleagues during our end-of-year dinner. Friday afternoon drinks are of course a standard part of this, and we regularly hang out together outside of these.

During the break, there is always someone willing to go for a game of soccer, a walk around the block or you are challenged to play pool, table tennis or darts. Apart from being good with numbers, we think it is a must that you fit well in the group. You will be working a minimum of 3 days per week and should spar a lot with all colleagues!

Every day I enjoy sitting in the office. I feel confident in my position, knowledge and ability and therefore feel seen. I am not only expected to perform my job correctly but also to look for improvements and opportunities. I really enjoy that challenge. In addition to administration, I am also involved in HR projects and professionalization. I like the atmosphere in the office, we have a close-knit team in admin and actively work together, sparring about the work. But I also work a lot with the consultants and I like the variety in that.
