Your position will be as follows

As a project leader, you will be working on high-profile infrastructure projects that will make the Netherlands future-proof. Think of iconic works such as the Rijnlandroute, the Haringvliet Bridge or the energy-neutral Rottemer Tunnel. You will be in the middle of implementation and involved from start to finish in complex projects involving tunnels, bridges and locks.

One day you coordinate on site with your team, suppliers and subcontractors, the next day you work at home or in the office on planning and cost control. You keep the overview, make adjustments where necessary and make sure the work runs smoothly. Safety comes first: you carry out inspections, draw up quality plans and ensure that everyone can work safely. During the tender phase you will help think about smart solutions and a feasible approach. After delivery, you make sure that an evaluation takes place so that each project is better than the last.

You are committed, decisive and enjoy connecting people and processes. In this role you will get a lot of responsibility and room to grow. You will work with an experienced team and contribute to projects that have a real impact on the Netherlands.

• You are the point of contact for your project team, suppliers, subcontractors and clients. Most of your time can be found on project sites, the other part at one of our offices or from home.
• In every project, your focus is on planning, cost and quality. You look ahead, keep an overview, adjust where necessary and speed up when necessary.
• You are and remain vigilant about workplace safety, including by conducting workplace inspections and establishing quality plans.
• Advising on tenders regarding feasibility and approach and organizing evaluation meetings after the completed project;

Here's what we expect from you

What we are looking for in you is someone with a strong sense of responsibility and a passion for technology. You have experience in leading complex new construction projects and know how to tackle installation challenges in a practical and well-considered way. You can switch effortlessly between different parties and keep an overview, even when the pressure increases. Whether you consult with engineers on site or give a presentation to the client, you know how to get the message across.

For this position, we ask:

• hbo work and thinking level, preferably with a technical background;
• Multiple years of experience in directing new construction projects within installation engineering;
• You are communicatively strong and know how to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization;
• You possess a driver's license B, so you can travel to projects flexibly.
