BENK of the court network padel tournament 2025

On Thursday, February 6, 2025, the first edition of the BENK of the court network padel tournament took place at HAL22. Some time ago now, but we still talk about this energetic and connecting day for professionals in the energy and info market. An event that was all about networking with industry peers, but with a sporty twist. 

 

Networking with an athletic slant

With 28 teams on the court, consisting of both experienced padel players and enthusiastic beginners, the BENK cup was competed fanatically in King of the Court format. Games were played in two pools, with full commitment and sportsmanship, with fun being the main focus. Outside the matches, there was an opportunity to talk to each other in an informal setting. A relaxed way to get to know each other better than in the usual meeting room.

From idea to reality

The idea for this tournament came about six months before the edition. We wanted something different from the classic networking drinks. Therefore, we decided to combine our passion for padel with our daily practice in the energy and infrastructure sector. The result: a fresh, vital and connecting event.

Sports and business: common ground enough

Sports and business share more than you think. Collaboration, strategizing and communication are essential, both on the padel court and within your organization. Without a good team, performance is hard to achieve. It is precisely by investing in people and collaboration that you can achieve shared goals and celebrate successes.

The atmosphere of the day is hard to describe, but fortunately we have the images. The aftermovie below shows well how successful the event was.

With over 80 relations and employees present, and many enthusiastic responses, we can speak of a successful first edition. One thing is certain: this will have a sequel.
