supervisor E&I
maintenance
Your position will be as follows
You arrive at the site of a large refinery in the morning, helmet under your arm, safety glasses on. Before you step into the office, you do a quick check to see if there is anything crazy in the work area. Everything seems quiet. Inside, you and the work planner discuss the day's schedule: a new cable route needs to be released, the inspection of the MCC building is scheduled, and a malfunction from yesterday requires your attention.
You walk out with your team, give clear instructions and coordinate with the contractor. Meanwhile you keep a close eye on safety, quality and progress. Around noon you join a toolbox meeting and help solve a technical bottleneck in a distribution station. No two days are the same, but you always keep an overview.
You are the point of contact for your team, the customer and other disciplines. You know exactly what it takes to keep everything running smoothly.
Furthermore, you will deal with:
- Managing E&I teams during maintenance, new construction and turnaround projects;
- Review work instructions, drawings and technical specifications;
- Monitor progress, safety, cost and quality;
- Coordinate with contractors, work planners and engineers;
- Reporting to the project leader or construction manager.
