The perseverer wins

BENK PROJECTS has set the sporting bar high! Indeed, last week we were allowed to participate in the soccer business tournament 'The perseverer wins' at Excelsior Rotterdam. Our goal? To raise money for Stichting Jarige Job and of course to take the cup home!

The tournament

With five companies from Rotterdam, consisting of teams of five, we were ready for battle. What a great start team BENK made. We won our first match 3-2 and the second match even 4-1. So a breeze 🙂

Although the last two games ended in a draw (2-2 and 0-0), we still had every reason to cheer. BENK finished with another team in first place. Thanks to our fantastic goalie Jeroen, who stopped more balls than the other team, he ensured the victory and we clinched the cup.

It was a fantastic day full of sportsmanship and fun. We are extremely proud of our team and the cup we won. Let us not forget our supporters, because without them we would not have achieved this victory.

Jarige Job Foundation

After the game, while enjoying snacks and drinks, an auction was held to raise money for the Jarige Job Foundation. They are dedicated to children from families who cannot afford a birthday party. The foundation does this by donating a birthday box worth €35, containing everything needed for a great birthday, both at home and at school. Thanks to this organization as many as 100,000 children can celebrate their birthday every year. BENK is proud to be part of this wonderful community effort.
